Statutory Holidays in British Columbia – 2011
As a live-in caregiver you are entitled to take a public holiday off work, with public holiday pay, regardless of how long you have been working. The following are the statutory holidays in British Columbia:
- B.C. Day – August 1, 2011 (Monday)
- Labour Day - September 5, 2011 (Monday)
- Thanksgiving Day – October 10, 2011 ( Monday)
- Remembrance Day - November 11, 2011 (Friday)
- Christmas Day – December 25, 2011 (Sunday)
