Are you a caregiver with at least 24 months of full-time work experience in Canada as a nanny/caregiver in the last 4 years? Start preparing your documents for the permanent residence in Canada.
Take your English test before the completion of the 24 months and also prepare your education credential along with an equivalency assessment.
About the English test:
- You must take the IELTS, "General Training" test showing that you meet the CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) level 5 (score 5 in Listening, score 4 in Reading, score 5 in Writing, score 5 in Speaking)
- The test result must be valid within two years on the date of the application
- Find IELTS locations in British Columbia
Education requirement
- Submit your foreign educational credential along with an equivalency assessment issued within five years before the date of the application
- The foreign diploma or certificate must be equivalent to a Canadian educational credential of at least one year of post-secondary studies
- To get an Educational Credential Assessment choose a designated organization
